How it opens

Opening this box releases 3–12 packs of monsters that ambush you — defeat them before you can collect the loot. Clear the surrounding area first, then open the box so you aren't overwhelmed.

Strongboxes are items with a rarity of their own, so you can use an Orb of Alchemy, Regal Orb or Exalted Orb on one to upgrade it and add modifiers before opening it. As a rule of thumb, prefixes tend to raise the danger and suffixes tend to raise the reward.
