Atlas & Endgame

Everything the endgame runs on — the Atlas passive tree, every endgame map and its bosses, waystone tiers and modifiers, and the tablets that customise your maps.

After the campaign, Path of Exile 2 opens the Atlas: an endless map of the shattered world. Waystones open its maps — each tier raises the monster level, from 65 at Tier 1 to 80 at Tier 16 — while tablets layer league content like Breach, Ritual and Delirium onto the maps around you, and Atlas passive points shape which rewards the endgame throws at you.

Atlas FAQ

What are Waystones in Path of Exile 2?
Waystones are the items that open endgame maps on the Atlas. They come in 16 tiers: a Tier 1 waystone opens a map at monster level 65, scaling one level per tier up to monster level 80 at Tier 16. Waystones can also roll prefixes and suffixes that make the map harder and more rewarding.
What do Tablets do?
A tablet adds its content to your maps — a Breach Tablet adds a Breach, a Ritual Tablet adds Ritual Altars, an Overseer Tablet empowers the Map Boss, and so on. Each tablet has 10 uses, and tablets can themselves roll modifiers that boost quantity, rarity and the content they add.
How do the Atlas passive subtrees work?
Alongside the main endgame Atlas tree there are six league subtrees — Breach, Expedition, Delirium, Ritual, Abyss and Incursion. Completing a mechanic's content grants that mechanic's own Atlas passive points, spent in its subtree to specialise its rewards.
What monster level are tier 15 and 16 maps?
A Tier 15 waystone opens a map at monster level 79, and Tier 16 at monster level 80. Every tier's exact level is on the Waystones page — the progression runs from level 65 at Tier 1 to 80 at Tier 16.
